When you log into American Daydreams, you enter a world where every almost daydream ends with a facial.

Once you've scrolled past a list of the other hardcore sites that come as part of the package, and then a number of other sites you'd get access to if you'd only upgrade to the next level of membership, you finally get to see what you're paying for - a promise of 50+ American Daydreams (that's the number of videos on offer, not of the age of the people in them) - although a quick count revealed that there are currently a total of 43 videos available to download.

Click on whatever takes your fancy to see a few stills and a badly written description of what the video entails, before choosing whether or not to download it.

Videos come in 3 different formats: WMV, MPEG or iPod compatible and can be downloaded either as a complete film, or in 5 segments. Each film looks to be around the 25 minute mark and you can take your choice from a number of fantasies, including threesomes, hawt girl-on-girl action, cheerleaders, parking attendants, baby sitters, co-eds and... um... someone dressed as Red Riding Hood at a Halloween Party.

All of these films are based around the idea of a daydream. A presumably narcoleptic guy bumps into a woman during the course of his day, promptly falls asleep and enjoys an x-rated dream about her.

The stars of the films could easily be in the role that they're playing - babysitters, personal shoppers, pizza delivery girls - they're not unattractive by any stretch of the imagination and most of them appear to have avoided the surgeons knife, one of the male actors looks a little like Vin Diesel, but generally, the films focus on the girls, with the guy being shuffled off to the side thanks to some inventive camera angles. American Daydreams also uses clever camera tricks, like angling the camera so that the pretty blonde girl appears to be looking directly at you when she starts talking dirty.

Downloading from the site can be a little slow - it took me just over 35 minutes to download a 26 minute film - and 12 minutes to download an 85.2mb segment. Most films have an accompanying gallery to look at if you get bored waiting.
