Maybe it's because I've just seen Casino Royale and feel like I'm the only Bond fan who wasn't blown away by it, but whatever the reason I'm in something of a mood for bucking the trend right now. As such, having seen reviews of Erica Lightspeed which basically amount to 'not bad' or 'okay', it'd be nice to jump to an extreme and say it's either excellent or abysmal. Unfortunately, at least for me, neither of these statements would be true.

As far as the site design goes, this is identical to any other Lightspeed girls page you may have seen, so if you need more details on that, check out my recent review of XXX Raimi. What this review has to focus on though, is the seemingly tall, blonde and tight, Erica herself. Like most, if not all Lightspeed girls, though attractive, Erica does not look like a traditional porn star, which is in keeping with the site as she does no traditional porn work, insofar as male/female hardcore is concerned. What she does do is advanced glamour, and 'amateur' lesbian sets, sometimes with up to three girlfriends.

Given that different sites interpret it differently, at Lightspeed, 'amateur' tends to mean their own established girls in sets that look like they were made by the girls themselves. To clarify, if you've ever been to a strip club and been seduced by a professional dancer, who knew not only what you wanted to see, but the best way in which to present it in time with a sexy beat, you'll know exactly what you're not getting here. If you were ever lucky enough to video your older sister's friends getting drunk and playing with each other in their underwear, you'll have a much better idea of what Erica does offer (though you might want to add a bad soundtrack to really get it right).

This is probably faux amateurism at one of the higher levels you'll see these days. Whilst it's clear that neither Erica nor her friends were picked up on the street last Thursday, you never get the feeling that you're paying a large company your hard-earned cash, but rather a small independent group, that could easy-as-not be set up in your local town, not least because the music used on some of the sets sounds like it was performed by the greasy teenager next door. This feeling is comforting and encourages you to forgive the site's minor faults; unoriginal design, lack of advanced content, and ultimately small store of images and movies. While there is enough here to keep you busy for a while, you could download all galleries and movie files in a short space of time meaning that unless you're prepared to pay extra to join other Lightspeed sites, you'll get bored quickly, even assuming they keep to their weekly update schedule.

That being said, though the content here is exclusive, it's far from original and simply watching one pretty girl take off her clothes is never enough to warrant a high-flying score. Though the lesbian content bumps it up somewhat, you never reach that peak of satisfaction that you do with the higher rated sites on 3XE, where you know you've found the best porn for you at that time, and there'll be more in future.

Like all single-girl sites, whether or not you'll be happy here depends largely on what you think of the star. I like the lithe way Erica looks while it's good to see Lightspeed haven't added another anorexic to their lists, but I don't like her enough to go without the advanced content I'll be able to find elsewhere for a similar price. In conclusion then? Not bad. Okay. Could do better.
