The score Euro Babez will get in any review will depend upon how you rate it. Against many of its competitors, it simply doesn't measure because the site is nearly completely focused around its image collection. That's not to say that like sister site Dream Babes it has no movies, but they're tucked away at the back of the site whereas the numerous galleries are presented front and centre. What's more, a simple 280 Mb movie took me more than ninety minutes to download on a broadband connection when I would have hoped for something closer to 30 minutes. That being said though, the galleries are often excellent and large and newer ones can be downloaded as ZIPs, so as an image site it does quite well. So, how to review it?

Well I'm only recently done reviewing Dream Babes which is practically identical to Euro Babez so it'd seem to be a good base. Like Dream Babes, Euro Babez presents its galleries in a straight-up WYSIWYG manner. There are three pages of model thumbnails which will take you to their individual pages which will contain previews and links to all their sets. Some may only have one but the majority I saw had at least two with some more popular (and recognisable) girls such as Sophie Sweet having over twenty with both hardcore and softcore sets being offered, though the latter is far more common.

Again like Dream Babes, the non-exclusive content tends to be of a high quality nature. Experienced surfers will recognise content from sites such as Twistys and this means a minimum of low-quality sets. The girls chosen from these other sites however, aren't the 'above-and-beyond' pornstars that seem to be so common in California, but rather the more attractive girls you could see on a Saturday night in your local city's hot-spots unless you live in Pittsburgh, that is. Don't assume this means a qualitative drop in camerawork though, because the images are well taken (some are so well taken the photographer felt compelled to take them six more times), and nearly all have undergone the smoothing post-work in Photoshop that's become popular in recent years. If you like your sex gritty and real, you won't be impressed by these touch-ups, but in essence they're the same as girls putting make-up on before they leave the house. Yeah it's fake, but when it's done right it makes everything that bit more attractive.

In an age when you can get access to both videos and high quality images in one site, often for a reasonable price, the question has to be raised what Euro Babez has to offer that these others don't. In a word, the answer is "nothing." The girls (and even the specific sets) can be seen elsewhere alongside other content, the download speeds are occasionally appalling, and you need only think of Videos Z for the briefest of moments to remember that there are much better and much more movies available.

But you get the feeling that those behind Euro Babez know that, and it's hard not to like a site that is upfront enough to show you everything it offers before you sign up. Couple this with the access to six other (almost identical) sites and for a brief period you might be satisfied. This is a no-nonsense site that makes no excuses or apologies for its content and that's admirable, but it doesn't change what's on offer here, and that's ultimately underwhelming.
