He puts stunning pictures of Luba, his beautiful wife (and muse) on the internet all the time and has never had to pick bits of broken keyboard out of his face.

The Hegre Archives is a softcore erotica site and just the sort of place you'd want beautiful wives and gorgeous women in general to be featured on. This is the official website of Norwegian Petter Hegre, showcasing his photographic talents and eye for nude beauty. In the field of "new nude", Petter's contribution is legendary and if you haven't seen his work before on your porn travels, then you must have had your eyes shut for the whole journey.

From the outset the website will bombard you with untainted nude young women. Petter has travelled the globe (mostly eastern Europe) in search of stunningly attractive young models. He found them, too - and even married one along the way. We should all be grateful that he's sharing his find (and his wife) with the world, such vast resources of nude beauty are hard to come by.

Photos are the dominant medium on Hegre Archives and there are tens of thousands of them. The site was launched in 2002 and currently updates with a new set of images, every day of the year. The quality of photography and models over this time has kept to a very high standard, the main difference being the size of the images offered.

It seems that Petter Hegre has been pushing the boundaries of image size over the years. His current standard being an eye melting 6000 pixel width and/or height. Only on the Hegre Archives are the 1200 pixel images marked as 'small'. At such huge resolutions the models really are "larger than life" and you count every hair on their immaculate bodies.

If producing a constant flow of stunning images wasn't enough, the Hegre Archives also provides erotic movies. These are only updated on a weekly basis though, hinting that Petter may actually need time for trivial things such as eating and sleeping.

The resolution, bit rate and length of the movies varies wildly. Petter does not yet seem to have a preference for any of these and even the favoured film format changes randomly. Out of all of these elements I think the bit rate of the movies could do with the most improvement, if they are to match the quality of the photos.

If you want to download the best quality version of a particular movie, you may be a little confused as too which one it might be. Sometimes downloading all of the them for a direct comparison is the only way. As a general rule, the largest file is probably the best. The largest available movie downloads however are overshadowed by the size of the image set zip files which are reaching towards the 300Mb mark these days.
