New Nude City is the brainchild of photographer Richard Kern, it's built around the city of New York and the entire navigation system is based around different areas of the city. There's Times Square, where 'teenage runaways cast off their gear and head for the first topless joint they can find' and the Upper East Side where 'silky limbed debutantes get down and dirty'.

It's probably OK if you live in New York, but I just had no idea where to click and the models in all of the sections look pretty much the same.

Despite the slightly odd navigation, the site does feel edgy, artistic and organised. It's mainly based around photographs and while there are videos on offer in the 'live theater' section, they're softcore and only a few moments long.

Let's start with the photos, since these are the main focus of the site.

The galleries are broken down into various areas of the city. There's Soho, Greenwich, Wall Street, Meat Market, Spanish Harlem, Times Square, Upper East, Lower East, Midtown and Out of the City. At the time of writing this, I'm informed that there are 22,403 images on the site. The majority of the photos are sort of..well, soft core fetish, if that's possible. There's a lot of stockings/feet/pantie pictures, a couple featuring two girls and a couple of light bondage shots.

The girls are reasonably attractive, in an every day sort of way. Every gallery opens in it's own window and has over 20 images, they can be downloaded in two sizes - 400x600 or 1400x900, zip files are offered to download whole galleries in either resolution. A word of warning, however - the 400x600 photos suffer a little from 'noise', but the larger images are sharp and clear. New photographs are added to the site every day.

Movies, on the other hand, are added once a week. The action is just a little more risque than the photos with some masturbation and girl/girl kissing and stroking, although on the whole a lot of the ones I saw were of girls writhing around naked with fairly bad sound. They also don't clock in at much longer than a couple of minutes.

All films are available in either DivX Avi, WMV, or QuickTime format. No particular file format seems to be favoured by the site at this time so expect varying compression quality and file sizes.

There aren't a whole lot of extras with New Nude City - you're paying for originality rather than quantity. There's a store where you can buy Kern's books, a Journal that isn't updated terribly often and a guestbook which doesn't see much action.

If you're into professional-looking softcore-but-slightly-fetishy-porn, you'll enjoy this site. If you're a fan of photography and/or small doses of off-beat fetishism, you'll appreciate Kern's work and enjoy the intimidating, professional feel about the site. Kern is noticeably comfortable with his subject matter, so if this is a subject that matters to you (or you live in New York), you'll feel at home here.
